Summary

A damaged wall in a busy store backroom isn't just an eyesore—it can also invite pests and compromise safety. The store needed a fast, reliable repair to close off an entry point and restore the wall in a high-traffic area.

The Work

Removed damaged plywood around a hole near the food side of the electrical room
Supplied and installed a new sheet of 3/4" fire-rated plywood to meet safety standards
Ensured the repair sealed off a noted pest entry point as requested by the store
Cleaned the area and walked the manager through the completed work before sign off

The Outcome

The backroom wall is now solid, secure, and blends in with the rest of the space. Blocking the opening helped limit pest issues and brought the area back up to store standards. Staff can use the space without worry.
